Debbie Klesser, Owner
I'm a Hopewell graduate and attended Barber School on the North Side of Pittsburgh. My aunt was already a barber and one day I attended a seminar with her and I became interested in barbering.
After a year of apprenticing and getting my Barber License I then decided to attend Beauty School, to have a dual license. I worked for several shops always dreaming of opening my own shop. I met my work partner and friend in barber school and we opened The Cut Company, in 1982 and have not looked back. Denise and I have attended several hair shows and have had many wonderful experiences. It is very difficult to have a partner let alone, a partner that has been a longtime friend. It’s been a successful venture and I hope a continuing success. Someone once said to me at the start of my career “If you feel it in your gut that something is right, it usually is." I’ve followed that advice through my life and career and I feel blessed.
